Sin leaves a terrible mark on the soul,
The heart and the mind are not whole.
There is fear that one is forgotten by God,
Sin clouds our understanding of the Lord.
But God has the power to deal with all our sins,
He can blot out our transgressions from deep within.
He can remove our sins as far as the East is from the West,
He buries our sins in the deepest ocean; He knows what is best!
All God desires is that we return to Him in humility,
He desires that we come to Him in genuine sincerity.
He will offer redemption as only He can truly give,
To the worst of sinners, He will say, “I forgive.”
Let the heart sing a great song of praise and jubilation,
Let every redeemed soul sing in great adoration!
The glory of the Lord is most wonderfully displayed,
In His redemption plan, the vilest sinner He will re-make!
