Helplessness brings on a sense of fear;
There is dread that takes away all cheer!
Dismay then sets in and causes distress;
The soul that is fearful has little rest!
Thank God for His promise of help Divine;
We need to believe in His Word sublime!
How glorious it is to have faith in God;
He is our Redeemer and our great LORD!
God’s promise of Divine Help is emphasised;
This word from God should not be a surprise!
How wonderful it is to feel free and strong;
God’s Presence inspires writing a new song!
The battle against fear and dismay must be won;
God promises to be with us from morn till set of sun!
The soul cannot thank God enough for His promises;
Let us know that God will help us overcome our miseries!
