There may be times in our life when we feel drained of power;
Dryness of the soul is felt, and weariness is experienced every hour.
The eyes look around and there is nothing that would bring relief;
The circumstances of life only bring further pain and deeper grief.
What would be the most important thing to do in such a circumstance?
The soul must seek the LORD earnestly, and that is of great importance.
The desire to find refreshing grace and strength must provide motivation;
In the LORD our God, there is hope for full and complete restoration.
The soul has perhaps experienced the mighty power of God;
There is truly no one like our wonderful and great LORD!
The search for the power and glory of God must be ceaseless;
Until we find grace to recover from dryness and weakness!
The lovingkindness of the LORD must urge us to press on;
Our gracious God will not let us remain wretched and forlorn.
He will hear our cry for help and come to our rescue;
He will prove Himself as our God who is loving and true!
