The clouds darken the sky and the sun is hidden;
The heart is fearful, the soul feels stricken.
Danger lurks and there seems to be no answer;
Where may the heart and soul find true shelter?
There is a “secret place” when one may find solace;
Deep Peace may be found when we seek God’s face.
It is in the Presence of the Almighty that grace is found;
And the faithful will find that His power will abound.
But “the secret place” is not just for visitation;
The wise know that it was meant for habitation.
The shadow of the Almighty offers strong defence;
No evil will ever be able to thwart the Lord’s plans.
The “secret place” of the Most High offers true security;
The faithful will experience the power of the Almighty.
The heart must be challenged to find inspiration;
In seeking the Lord, there must be no procrastination.
