Doubts assail and fears threaten our confidence to destroy,
“The challenges are too huge for your faith to employ.”
I seek to understand why so many speak in fear,
Can we not be unafraid because God is truly near?
The doubters stand aside to watch and sneer
They are certain that our faith in God would not bring cheer.
How should we proceed when such doubts assail?
There is only one answer- “By Faith we prevail!”
“Behold your God!” That was the prophet’s cry,
To all who doubted this was his reply.
His eyes were firmly fixed on the promises of God,
He refused to be shaken by all the odds.
How we need to learn to apply our faith today!
For we must be prepared for doubters along the way.
Faith must cause a sense of hope to arise,
Trust in God will see the success of our enterprise.
