That Silent Night

Song Lyrics
THAT SILENT NIGHT

In Bethlehem one silent night
A Baby in a manger lay
Who would have thought this little Child
Would be salvation’s way.
His mother looked upon His face
So fragile but so full of grace
And in her heart a song of praise
All through the night would raise.

It was on that silent night,
One amazing, holy night
God sent His only Son to set me free
On that awesome night of nights
The way was paved for Him to be
A Saviour… The Saviour…
My Saviour who would give His life for me.

As shepherds watched their flocks by night
Good tidings brought by angels bright
“For unto you is born this day
The Christ” , salvation’s way.
Who would have thought, that Baby born
Would bring joy to a world forlorn
To give us hope, to give us peace
From sin our hearts release.

It was on that silent night,
One amazing, holy night
God sent His only Son to set me free
On that awesome night of nights
The way was paved for Him to be
A Saviour… The Saviour…
My Saviour who would give His life for me.

It was on that silent night,
One amazing holy night
God sent His only Son to set me free
On that awesome night of nights
The way was paved for Him to be
A Saviour… The Saviour…
My Saviour who would give His life for me.

How many on that silent night
Would understand the depth of love
That paid the greatest sacrifice
Redemption from above
Like shepherds in the fields that night
Rejoicing with the angels bright
I bow before my Saviour Lord
Who came that silent night.
