Few words are as tender as the ones uttered in God’s call,
Lovingly He gives words of loving assurance to one and all.
He takes one from the ends of the earth in His wonderful plan,
He calls another from the farthest regions, gives hope again.
All who are redeemed He now gives these words sublime,
“I have called you, I have not cast you away, You are Mine.”
What more can the redeemed expect from the good Lord above?
He has been pardoned, restored and so greatly loved.
“You are Mine…” They are words that must bring joy to the heart,
He who understands redemption would never from God’s side depart.
The redeemed sets aside time to dwell on God’s amazing grace,
His heart is moved, he determines to run well life’s great race.
The world will do everything to allure and distract the redeemed,
A great safeguard is to remember God’s wonderful love supreme.
There is no one like the Lord, “The-God- Who-Forgives,”
He will empower those who truly desire, for Him, to live.
