Have you ever suffered a time of deep sorrow?
And life looked bleak and there seems no tomorrow?
Did you cry out to God and He heard you pray?
Then let the heart exclaim, “I love the Lord today!”
Have you had a near-death encounter?
Life hung in the balance and it was not in your favour?
Did you cry out to God and He heard you pray?
Then let your heart exclaim, “I will call upon Him always!”
Have you found out how the Lord has loved you?
He was always there for you with a love that is true?
Have you ever cried out to God in deep appreciation?
Then today cry out to God in loving jubilation.
We have a God who is wonderful and merciful;
He hears the cry of His people, because He is faithful!
How our hearts must cry out to the Lord loud and clear;
“I love the LORD! He is most precious and He is dear!”
