God has every right to test His children;
There is no need to fear, this side of Heaven.
The Lord has proven that He is good and kind;
Concerning the tests of life, we should not mind.
God wants to know how we regard Him in our heart;
He has promised that, from us, He would never depart.
He has given us His word of faithful provision;
Why should we not believe in His protection?
We must learn from the mistakes that Israel made;
Let us learn to trust in a glorious God who is great!
There is no reason why we need to give in to fear;
We have a wonderful God who is truly near!
Let us seek the Lord’s grace most humbly;
When we face life’s many challenges daily.
God will be there to help and even to heal;
Our heart must learn how to trust and be still.
